March 13th, 2010 Tri-State Forestry Conference! Sinsinawa Mound, Iowa www.forestry.iastate.edu Save The Date (3/13/10)!!! This is the 16th annual forestry conference and planning is well underway. Registration materials will be mailed by mid-December, and as information becomes available it will be posted on the wedsite provided. Hope to see you in March!
, January 16-17, 2010 26th ANNUAL BALD EAGLE APPRECIATION DAYS Keokuk, Iowa www.keokukiowatourism.org/eagledays.htp Winter home of the Largest Concentration of Bald Eagles on the Mississippi River. View Bald Eagles in their Natural Habitat. Personnel from Iowa and Illinois will staff outdoor viewing points. World Bird Sanctuary of St. Louis will feature the American Bald Eagle and many other raptors up close and personal. These programs will be held in the River City Mall Plaza Cinema. In addition, other Educational Seminars will be held in the mall. All indoor programs and seminars are free and run on the hour on both days. Great fun for the entire family.
