Chairperson's Message
The Illinois Tree Farm System continues to grow because of the dedication and leadership of the tree farmers and their state and regional committees. We are the stewards of Illinois' forest resources that will be passed on to future generations. With proper management, our tree farms provide wildlife habitat, soil conservation, better water quality, outdoor recreation and education, and timber and wood products that we all use and depend on in our daily lives.
